Through the State Fund Safety Equipment Grants Program, eligible policyholders may receive up to $10,000 in free safety equipment to help protect workers on the job.

Who May Qualify for the Safety Equipment Grant?

State Fund  policyholders must have an eligible policy,, have an Illness and Injury Prevention Plan, or IIPP, and have at least one employee who works from a height of six feet or more. Businesses that do not currently have an IIPP may be able to create one using State Fund’s IIPP Builder.

The program includes businesses across a number of industries, including:

Roofing, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, plastering and stucco, masonry, sheet metal, steel erection, tree work, janitorial services, scaffold work, wallboard installation, orchards, and several other eligible classifications.
